Analysis is a very important field in image treatment. Analysis of image text consists most of the times in extracting some property caracteristics and to express them in parametric form. In this sheet of paper we have presented the state of works using fractal geometry, in order to classify image texte at the corresponding language, and to analyse them in their state either printed or handwritten ; the choice of local analysis( profile or outline) or global (texture) depends mostly on the concerned application
